Feel Good
Well I just watched The Secret on itunes....Very great movie, I recommend it to everyone. It really helps you change the way you think. We definitely are the authors of our life. What a great movie. I am in a good mood :).
Well my ex called me out the blue today from a friend's phone because he does not have one (not trying to say that is a bad thing). He is a great person but the longer I was on the phone with him, the more I wanted to get off it. That is a sign that I am moving on. He started talking about anything just to keep the convo going. I remember when I use to have to pull teeth to keep him on the phone bc he was not a "phone person". I had to eventually tell him I had to go.
Enough talking about that....I have been listening to this song alot. I love this group, I need to put their first CD in the car, forgot I had the darn thing :).
Then I was on youtube and ran into this video, I LOVE this song...I am bringing in back...lol

I forgive...
...but I definitely won't forget!
A little time has passed and I am not mad anymore bc I can laugh at it now. Sometimes I look back on the situation and think, heck naw, it wasn't suppose to go down like that, but it is what is is...right? You meet many people in your lifetime, but for some reason I feel we met for a reason. Some people don't believe in fate, but I do. The cirumstances in which we met on the surface may not look unusual BUT for me it was.
Looking back, I see you as a very observing intuitive person. You seem like you take in your surroundings very well and think really fast. I was kind of surprised at how much you observed about me from the first time we met, it could have been just all talk, but I feel you were sincere at what you said. I remember you saying that our meeting eachother felt right...well it felt right for a reason, i personally think that our energies are in sync with eachother.
Do I think that you were blocking your feelings due to whatever circumstances? Yeah. Do I think that you are bothered at how I can feel you out and pick up on little things? Yeah. But hey I can't help that I am open (people somehow feel comfortable in telling me certain things about themselves they never tell many or haven't told anyone at all) and a feeler...Everybody has a story...the only way we can understand eachother (generally speaking) is if we know a person's background.
We may not even speak to eachother again although I feel like we probably will, who knows (rambling). But I don't think I will forget you. For some reason it feels as if I have known you for a very long time...
Note: This blog entry is not meant to be understood...it was for me to release thoughts.
wow..this was a personal thought...i guess its best to express it here

Lesson 1 in single life
I have learned not to give someone my phone number if I have no interest in them. Point blank period. Guy wanted to see my phone and he called his...he was kind of slick with it. Nice guy but so not what I am looking for. (sigh)

Love You Like I Did
Mood: Pensive/Sad
Song: Love You Like I Did
I hate that my blogs are turning into relationship type blogs but I going to blog what is on my mind currently. It took alot for me to post this. I am a very expressive person, but not necessarily out in public. I just got off the phone with my mother. I like to talk to her because she gives a great view on things. I was telling her about how everybody is getting married and having babies. She tells me, “Sista girl, you got plenty of time, plenty of time”. I am still young, but you know I still think about if I am ever going to get that. Once women hit their mid to late 20’s they start thinking about that despite the fact that they are focused on their career or just getting their life together. I personally don’t want to even have kids until I am in my thirties, but I want to be married first…and although my focus right now is to get myself together, it is still in the back of my head.
I ended a serious relationship earlier this year and I am dealing with it pretty well but I do have my off days or little moments when I am down. What I have experienced since my ex has me kind of discouraged sometimes though. Despite the fact that I try to be positive, sometimes I wonder if I will ever find anybody that loved me like he did. We were not perfect. We had our problems. We had our great times. We have learned from each other. But we were also young when we met. We have
grown a lot and I know that I have grown apart from him in many ways.
My family looks at him in a very high regard. But they don’t know everything. I dealt with more than I should have. There were times when I should have just left and avoided a lot of heartache. Times when I should have just let him go when he wanted to. But I didn’t and now I don’t feel like being there, the desire is not there. But I am still human. I still love him, I always will because what we shared was unconditional love.
One thing that I appreciate about him was the fact that despite the problems, he treated me well…which is why my family likes him. I admit he will be a great mate for whoever he is with when he settles down. I know he feels the same way about me…will he ever find someone who loved him the way I did.
Love is a complicated thing. It just seem like, when you meet guys…you meet bits and pieces of what you want. After a while, all the guys you meet equal the one man that you actually want…lol. I just want to meet a guy that just will enjoy my company and not look at me a just another chick to get in bed with. We can just go out (and when I mean out I mean not at the home) and just have fun together. Get to know each other. I guess time will tell.
